Scope of services
Colocation – the client may locate his hardware in the available part of the MCX Data Center. The Client’s hardware is located in a specially protected and monitored zone of the building with controlled access. The room is protected from flooding and fire.
Client’s IT infrastructure management – based on complete performing of tasks resulting from operation, planned changes and development for servers, workstations and software owned by the client ordering the service.

Architecture

Network infrastructure
- All network equipment and lines (LAN, WAN) have been multiplied in a way permitting efficient and uninterrupted operation of the centre
- Applied devices are equipped with doubled elements significant for uninterrupted operation
- Separation into several sub-networks
- Demilitarised zone (DMZ) – with systems, to which limited and strictly controlled access is only possible from the outside
- Production zone – with systems requiring special protection, for example database servers
- A dedicated network for performing backups
Safety
- The interior and surroundings are monitored in a 24x7x365 system with the use of closed-circuit TV
- The centre is protected by guards from a licensed security company
- The whole area is protected by an alarm system allowing remote notification of the intervention group
- Each room is protected with two-stage safety devices (locks, magnetic card readers); 24 hour monitoring
Access to the world
- Fully scalable links, allowing increase of their throughput
- Multiplied active devices (routers, switches) ensuring reliable communication even in case of failure of any of them
- Testing of network parameters in a continuous mode (24x7x365); Operative BGP 4 protocol (dynamic routing). In case of failure of the link to one of the operators, traffic is automatically switched to the link of another operator
- Connection of the Hosting Centre to several key operators (Crowley, Netia, Exatel).
